Pedestrian Crash on Bell Road Left One Fatality
PHOENIX, AZ (October 1, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian crash on Bell Road that killed one man on Wednesday night.
The deadly collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. at Bell Road and 19th Avenue. According to reports, a man in his 70’s was struck in the street by an oncoming vehicle.
After the impact, the driver of the vehicle remained on scene to cooperate with emergency crews.
Meanwhile, paramedics arrived and attempted to preform life-saving measures on the man, but sadly he died at the scene.
The roadway closed temporarily for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since been reopened.
Furthermore, the identity of both parties involved is currently unknown.
