One Killed, One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Koreatown [Los Angeles, CA]
Koreatown Two-Vehicle Crash Left One Fatality
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 26, 2021) – A deadly two-vehicle crash near Koreatown left 1 person dead and another injured, police said.
The accident happened on Saturday at about 11:20 P.M. in the area of Normandie Avenue and 15th Street.
A southbound vehicle struck another vehicle going westbound on 15th street, according to LAPD’s west traffic division.
Afterwards, the westbound vehicle struck two pedestrians standing on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Unfortunately, paramedics pronounced one of the pedestrians dead at the scene. Officials identified the deceased victim as a 56-year-old man.
Meanwhile, medical personnel transported the other patient to the hospital with a leg injury.
Both drivers involved in the two-vehicle crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident in Koreatown.
