Scott Maillet Dead after Head-On Collision along Highway 49 [Nevada, CA]
Head-On Collision near Rincon Way Kills 37-Year-Old Scott Maillet, Injured Two Others
NEVADA, CA (September 28, 2021) – Last Sunday afternoon, Scott Maillet was killed after a deadly head-on collision along Highway 49.
According to the California Highway Patrol the collision took place around 12:39 p.m. on Highway 49, next to Rincon Way.
Moreover, Maillet was the passenger in a Volkswagen driven by Stephanie Kramer.
For reasons unknown, a 2001 Honda Accord crossed over the double yellow lines and collided head-on with the Volkswagen.
Additionally, authorities pronounced Scott Maillet dead at the scene, while Kramer and the Honda driver escape with minor injuries.
Eventually, emergency crews proceeded to transport both surviving individuals to a local hospital, while CHP cleared the roadway.
Meanwhile, the head-on collision is still under active investigation.
