CHP Issues SigAlert after Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-8
LA MESA, CA (September 28, 2021) – One person is recovering at a hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on I-8 involving 9 vehicles.
The incident occurred around 7:30 A.M. on westbound I-8 near Lake Murray Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a three to four vehicle accident caused multiple cars to pile up, flipping one on its side.
Additionally, police are unsure about the cause and factors that lead to this major collision.
In the end, paramedics transported one person to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Furthermore, authorities closed the roadway for cleanup and preliminary investigations.
At this time, the CHP are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash on I-8.
