Man Dies, 5 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard [Pacoima, CA]
Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision in Pacoima
PACOIMA, CA (September 28, 2021) – Sunday night, an unidentified man was killed in a multi-car crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
The deadly accident occurred around 8:35 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the 10460 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard shortly after.
According to reports, the male driver of a white pickup-truck made a right turn onto Laurel Canyon, directly into the path of another vehicle. As a result, the two cars collided.
Investigators say two men and three juveniles were injured in the crash. Two occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle. All victims were transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
In addition, an 11-year-old boy who was in an apartment building that was struck was evaluated. However, the young boy did not require further treatment.
At this time, impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. Although, speed is currently being considered.
