Two-Vehicle Crash on Grapefruit Boulevard Left One Fatality and One Hospitalized
COACHELLA, CA (September 27, 2021) – On Thursday, a two-vehicle crash on Grapefruit Boulevard killed one person and hospitalized another.
Fire officials responded to the incident around 8 A.M. at the intersection of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 52.
Upon arrival, firefighters located one deceased victim and another with minor injuries.
In the end, Calfire officials advised motorists about the closing of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 52 and 53 for at least two hours.
The Coachella Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the fatal two-vehicle crash.
At this time, the names of the victims remain unavailable, pending notification from their next of kin.
