Train Collision on County Road 32A Claims Life of 1 Victim
DAVIS, CA (September 27, 2021) – Amtrak train incident left one person dead after getting struck on County Road 32A early Wednesday morning.
The fatal accident happened around 6 a.m. near County Road 32A.
According to the investigators, Train 523 was inbound from Sacramento to San Jose when a “trespass incident” occurred along the tracks.
Later on, the responding authorities confirmed that the incident claimed the life of one pedestrian.
However, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the identity of the deceased victim remains unclear.
At this time, Davis authorities stopped any train operations along the tracks. Meanwhile, Amtrak advises commuters that they can board Train 525 to get around.
