Motorcyclist Dies in Collision on Beach Boulevard [Huntington Beach, CA]
54-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Accident on Adams Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (September 24, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a 54-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Beach Boulevard.
The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m., near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Adams Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.
According to reports, the motorist was riding a Harley Davidson north on Beach Boulevard. There, he struck a southbound Toyota Rav4 that was turning left in a turn pocket that was not protected by a traffic light.
Upon officer’s arrival, they located the unconscious motorist on the ground. Shortly after, he was pronounced dead due to the extent of his condition.
The Rav4 driver was described as a 90-year-old man that lives in Huntington Beach. He was transported to a local hospital for further treatment of his injuries. Although, his identity has not yet been released.
Further circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, an active investigation is still underway.
