Big-Rig Crash on I-15 Left Motorcyclist Dead
PALA MESA, CA (September 20, 2021) – Last Wednesday, a deadly crash on I-15 involving a big-rig left a Daniel Robert Boyd dead in northern San Diego County.
The deadly incident occurred shortly before 11:30 A.M. at the southbound side of the freeway south of State Route 76 in Pala Mesa.
According to the CHP, the big-rig crash left several lanes in the area of I-15 blocked for at least an hour.
Later on, the coroner’s officers identifies the deceased motorcyclist as 36-year-old Daniel Robert Boyd.
Pala Mesa officials are working to identify the factors that contributed to the big-rig crash on I-15.
