Wrong-Way Collision on I-10 Killed Two near Casa Grande
PINAL COUNTY, AZ (September 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, two people were killed after a wrong-way collision on I-10, southeast of Casa Grande.
The authorities claimed that the incident happened in the afternoon of September 15th, near the milepost 222 on interstate 10.
First responders declared both victims dead the scene. However, the identity of the deceased victim and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
Furthermore, the Arizona Department of Public Safety released a statement saying the southbound portion of the I-10 was close. The roadway has since been reopened.
At this time, DPS continues to investigate the fatal accident.
No other injuries were reported from the deadly wrong-way collision on I-10.
