Bicycle Accident in Mission Valley Kills 42-Year-Old Man
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 16, 2021) – A San Diego man lost his life Wednesday after a deadly bicycle accident in Mission Valley.
CHP responded to East Mission Valley near Camino Del Rio South last Wednesday. According to police, the 42-year-old man was riding his bicycle down the road when he was hit by a 25-year-old woman driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra.
Officers responding to the incident stated that the woman struck the rider with the front, left corner of the car, killing the man on the scene.
At this time, the CHP stated that no DUI was suspected and that the female driver was unharmed in the accident.
