Isaiah Garrett Dies, Lloyd Marcus and Clarissa Leimis Hurt in Crash on Highway 138 [Llano, CA]
Fatal 2-Car Collision near Fort Tejan Road
LLANO, CA (September 16, 2021) – Friday night, Isaiah Garrett died, and LLoyd Marcus and Clarissa Leimis were hurt in a crash on Highway 138.
According to reports, the fatal collision happened around 5:12 p.m., just west of Fort Tejan Road.
Officers say Garrett was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima east on the highway. There, he veered to the left and entered westbound traffic for reasons unknown.
As a result, he collided with a westbound 2021 Ram 1500. Due to the impact of the crash, Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ram was later identified as 43-year-old Lloyd Marcus, of Banning. He was transported to Northridge Hospital for further treatment.
In addition, the passenger, 41-year-old Clarissa E. Leimis of Banning, was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
At this time, police do not suspect that either drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision. However, an active investigation is still underway.
