Palm Desert Two-Vehicle Crash Results in Two Fatalities Including Gilberto Gomez
PALM DESERT, CA (September 15, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of Gilberto Gomez and a 17-year-old driver.
Moreover, the incident occurred around 4:33 a.m., on Highway 111 at Fred Waring Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department said.
Upon arrival, the first responders declared 52-year-old Gilberto Gomez of Indio and a 17-year-old driver, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, they transported a seriously injured patient to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Ultimately, police are uncertain about the factors leading up to, and causing the fatal collision.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the two-vehicle crash.
