Alejandro Carrion Arrested after DUI Collision Kills Woman near Gilcrease Orchard [Las Vegas, NV]
64-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-on Collision with DUI Suspect Alejandro Carrion
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 10, 2021) – 27-year-old Alejandro Carrion was arrested Monday morning after a DUI collision that claimed the life of a woman.
Around 7:30 a.m., Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the incident near the Gilcrease Orchard in North Vegas.
According to LVMP two drivers, one heading eastbound, the other westbound, collided head-on along the roadway. As a result, one of the drivers was killed on impact.
The other driver, Alejandro Carrion, was later taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Upon his release, he was eventually placed into custody for driving under the influence.
At this time, authorities have not yet released the identity of the 64-year-old woman at this time.
