Rider Critical after Hit-and-Run Crash on Orilla Road [Seatac, WA]
Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Major Hit-and-Run Crash on Orilla Road
SEATAC, WA (September 2, 2021) – One motorcyclist sustained major injuries last Saturday following a hit-and-run crash on Orilla Road.
The crash took place on August 21, Saturday at Orilla Road near Angle Lake.
According to reports, the biker swerved to avoid a car pulling out in front of him. The dashcam video also shows the town vehicle making a wide curve, slowing down as the motorcycle collides, but never coming to a complete stop.
While the car did not directly hit the rider, detectives said they might still be charged with hit-and-run for failing to stop and check on him.
Paramedics rushed the victim with serious spinal and head injuries after the incident caused him to crash 30 feet down an embankment.
Furthermore, authorities stated that the vehicle appears to be in nearly pristine condition, despite being an older model. It does not appear to have a front license plate.
The Sheriff’s deputies are currently looking for the gold Lincoln town car.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound through the P3 Tips app or by dialing 1-800-222-tips.
