Highway 680 Pedestrian Collision Results in Fatality

SAN RAMON, CA (September 2, 2021) – Early Monday morning, an unidentified person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 680.

Officers responded to the deadly incident around 12:55 a.m., near Bollinger Canyon Road.

Upon arrival, the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District pointed out that a vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the road.

However, the identities of the parties involved including the deceased patient remains unavailable.

As a result, the San Ramon officials closed down the southbound lanes of Highway 680 for further investigation.
