Chestnut Avenue Multi-Vehicle Crash Sends Two Victims to Hospital
FRESNO, CA (September 1, 2021) – Fresno Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on Chestnut Avenue that left 2 people injured last Sunday.
Officers responded to the incident around 11:30 A.M. at the Church and Chestnut Avenue intersection.
Upon arrival, the authorities discovered that the collision involved three vehicles, leaving two of the three drivers hospitalized.
Later on, investigators determined that a black Toyota Camry struck several vehicles after running a red light at the intersection.
In addition, officers also learned that the Camry driver was under the influence of alcohol and traveled at a high rate of speed.
Fresno Officials are further investigating the multi-vehicle crash.
