58-Year-Old Woman Dead after Fatal Pedestrian Collision near Amber Avenue

FRESNO, CA (August 31, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a 58-year-old female pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Rose Avenue.

The incident took place on the eastbound lane of Rose Avenue, just east of Amber Avenue, as stated by the report.

According to CHP, the woman was walking eastbound when she was struck by oncoming vehicle on Rose Avenue. However, her identity has not yet been provided.

According to investigators, she was dressed in dark clothes and the driver did not notice her.

As per the CHP, alcohol and narcotics were not factors in the collision. Officers are looking into why the lady was wandering in the street.

Meanwhile, the crash on Rose Avenue is still under investigation.
