Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Interstate 10 [Tucson, AZ]
Fatal Rollover Crash near 22nd Street in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (August 26, 2021) – Monday afternoon on August 23, a man was killed in a two-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10.
The crash took place around 1:22 p.m., on the eastbound lanes of the highway near milepost 259, as per the report.
According to the authorities, a teenager suspected of driving under the influence was driving a 2005 Nissan Xterra, and collided with a pickup truck.
The man from inside the truck was later pronounced dead as a result of the crash. However, his identity has not yet been released.
Moreover, the teen driver was handed over to his father, and charges are currently pending.
During the inquiry, all three eastbound lanes of I-10 were blocked. Although, they later reopened around 5:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the collision is still under active investigation. Once available, more information will be released.
