Fatal Crash on Union Pacific Avenue Results in Death
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 24, 2021) – One person died Sunday evening after a fatal multi-vehicle crash on Union Pacific Avenue.
The collision happened shortly before 8:00 p.m., on Union Pacific Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, up to four vehicles were involved in the crash, including a black and white sedan and a black pickup-truck. However, the events leading up to the crash are still unknown.
Paramedics located five patients and treated them at the scene; three were transported to hospitals via ambulance, and two declined further treatment.
In addition, one of the three transported patients died in the hospital, according to CHP.
Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, further investigation is underway.
