Bakersfield Hit-And-Run Driver near Lamont Kills Motorcyclist
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 23, 2021) – Hit-and-Run driver remains at large after taking the life of a motorcyclist on Thursday in Bakersfield near Lamont.
The deadly crash happened around 8:45 P.M. at Weedpatch Highway and Bear Mountain Boulevard, according to CHP.
Apparently, a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle rider collided with a dark colored SUV while traveling south on Weedpatch approaching Bear Mountain.
In addition, the CHP also pointed out that the motorcycle did not have headlights or taillights.
As a result, the impact sent the motorcyclist off the bike and died at the scene due to multiple injuries.
Subsequently, the SUV driver immediately fled northbound on Weedpatch Highway before the authorities arrived at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim and the hit-and-run driver remain unavailable.
