Motorcycle Crash Resulted in One Fatality on Cathedral Oaks Road

GOLETA, CA (August 20, 2021) – A motorcycle crash on Cathedral Oaks Road claimed the life of Mikha Benedictus, Santa Barbara County Officials said.

Emergency personnel responded to the incident around 8:30 P.M. on Cathedral Oaks Road west of Los Carneros Road.

Upon arrival, the firefighters declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

However, the driver of the involved Subaru station wagon did not receive any injuries and cooperated with the investigators.

Later on, the Santa Barbara Officials identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old Mikha Benedictus of Goleta.

However, the circumstances surrounding the motorcycle crash remains unavailable.

At the end, authorities closed down Cathedral Oaks Road between Los Carneros and Glen Annie road to investigate.
