LAGUNA, NM (August 19, 2021) – Sunday on August 8, one person died and two others were taken to the hospital after a fatal crash on I-40 in Laguna.

The crash occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-40, as per the report. Dispatchers arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to the authorities, a semi-truck and an SUV were involved in the collision. However, the events leading up remain unclear at this time.

In addition, the eastbound lanes on I-40 were closed for many hours, but it has now reopened.
