Solano County Multi-Vehicle Crash Resulted in Driver’s Death
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (August 18, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Solano County that killed one person.
The fatal collision occurred just before 5 A.M. Wednesday morning in the eastbound I-80, according to the investigators.
The California Highway Patrol claimed that an eastbound Toyota crossed into the center median.
Afterwards, the Toyota exited the center median and entered the roadway again and eventually collided with a Hyundai.
As a result, the driver was ejected from the Toyota after multiple other vehicles slammed into it.
Tragically, first responders declared the driver dead at the scene.
However, the condition of the other parties involved remains unclear.
Solano County authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash.
