Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on Clear Creek Road near Orweiler Road
POULSBO, WA (August 18, 2021) – A man lost his life Monday night in a hit-and-run crash on Clear Creek Road, authorities still looking for the suspect.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on the 15000 block of Clear Creek Road NW, near NW Orweiler Road.
According to reports, deputies initially responded to a report of a body found in the roadway. Unfortunately, authorities determined that the victim, a 36-year-old man, had been killed due to a hit-and-run.
Witnesses said a dark-colored sedan was speeding away northbound, and evidence on the scene indicates that the suspect vehicle may be a 2007-2012 Nissan Sentra.
At this time, officials have yet to locate either the suspect, or vehicle involved.
Poulsbo Police ask anyone who have witnessed the crash or suspect vehicle to call Deputy Aimee Rogers or Deputy Rob Corn at 360-337-4634.
Meanwhile, the crash is still under going active investigation.
