Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-And-Run Driver on McHenry Avenue
MODESTO, CA (August 16, 2021) – Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that claimed the life of one pedestrian on McHenry Avenue on August 8.
The officials revealed surveillance footage of the suspect fleeing the scene of the crash along McHenry Avenue.
In addition, investigators also described the vehicle as a lifted Chevy Silverado with dark rims, step up side rails, and a chrome grill.
Unfortunately, the involved pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The coroner’s office is working to identify the deceased victim.
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large and Modesto police are encouraging anyone with information to contact 209-342-6105.
