BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 16, 2021) – Authorities are in search for the hit-and-run driver that left a 10-year-old child injured on Thursday.
Officers responded to the incident around 1 P.M. on Monterey Street near Fairfax Road.
According to the report, a vehicle struck the child riding a bicycle and immediately fled the scene.
As a result, the child suffered foot injuries, but the severity of the injury remains unspecified.
Eventually, paramedics arrived and assisted the juvenile victim.
