1 Dead after Traffic Accident on Highway 50 [Folsom, CA]
Driver Struck, Killed After Getting Out Of Car After Crash On Highway 50
FOLSOM, CA (August 16, 2021) – One unidentified driver died Thursday morning after a fatal traffic accident on Highway 50.
The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. August 12, along Highway 50 near Prairie City Road.
According to the CHP, the driver crashed into the center divider on the westbound side of the highway. The driver got out of the car and was hit by a passing vehicle on the eastbound side of the road.
Tragically, the driver died as a result of his injuries. However, authorities are withholding his identity at this time.
Moreover, investigators had no additional information on the other vehicle involved.
The CHP asks anyone with information about the investigation, to contact their local police.
