Pedestrian Dead in a Fatal Crash near Pecan Avenue and Madera Roadway
MADERA, CA (August 12, 2021) – Friday night, July 30, a 37-year-old man was fatally struck near Pecan Avenue and Madera Avenue.
The crash took place around 10 p.m. towards the southern city limits, near Pecan and Madera Avenues, as stated by the report.
According to the Madera police, a man was attempting to walk in the middle of the roadway. Consequently, he was fatally struck near Pecan Avenue by a passing vehicle.
Unfortunately, emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Moreover, the driver remained and is helping police with their investigation.
Currently, police say that neither drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
Meanwhile, the collision is still under investigation.
