Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Granite Creek Road [Scotts Valley, CA]
Motorist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Accident near Ventana Woods
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (August 12, 2021) – Tuesday evening on July 27, a 57-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Granite Creek Road.
The incident happened on Granite Creek Road just south of Ventana Woods, as stated by the report. Officers arrived to the area shortly after.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Soquel man was operating a southbound 2012 Harley Davidson at unknown speeds. For reasons unknown, he overturned and slid off the west edge of the road.
The man was later transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. Due to the extent of his condition, he was later pronounced dead.
At this time, drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a role. However, the accident is still currently being investigated.
