Two Killed in Fatal Head-On Collision on State Route 86 [Tucson, AZ]
2 Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near Sells
TUCSON, AZ (August 11, 2021) – Saturday morning, a U.S. Border Patrol agent and another driver were killed in a head-on collision on State Route 86.
The crash occurred at about 12:20 a.m., on State Route 86 outside of Sells, as per the report. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.
Unfortunately, both the Border Patrol Agent and the other driver were declared dead following the collision.
There was no release of identities or further information about the head-on collision on State Route 86.
In addition, the surrounding area on State Route 86 was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the road has since reopened.
Meanwhile, the collision is under investigation. Once available, more information will be released to the public.
