LA MESA, CA (August 9, 2021) – Wednesday evening on July 28, a 40 year-old man was killed after a car crashed into an office building on University Avenue.

The crash took place around 5:30 p.m., in the 7300 block of University Avenue, as per the report.

According to the authorities, officers were heading eastbound when they saw a vehicle veer off the road and crash through a building’s glass windows.

Due to the impact of the crash, a 40-year-old man who was inside the building was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the car that slammed into the building was driven by a 61-year-old man. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
