Phillip Rincon Killed in Crash on Interstate 15 [Rancho Cucamonga, CA]
I-15 Traffic Collision Results in One Fatality
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (August 3, 2021) – Authorities identified 40-year-old Phillip Rincon as the victim of a fatal rear-end crash on I-15 last Sunday.
The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m., on the northbound I-15, south of Oak Hill Road, on July 25.
According to the CHP incident logs, a slow traveling Toyota sedan swerved in front of a BMW. The BMW failed to avoid the collision and struck the Toyota from behind.
As a result, the Toyota received major rear damage and came to a rest facing sideways on the freeway.
Due to the impact of the collision, Philip Laurence Rincon died at the scene, according to San Bernardino County Fire officials.
At this time, the San Bernardino California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
