Driver Killed in Big-Rig Crash on Rubidoux Boulevard [Jurupa Valley, CA]

Collision Between Big-Rig and Pick-up Truck in Jurupa Valley Results in One Fatality

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 3, 2021) – Early Tuesday night, an unidentified driver was killed in a big-rig crash on Rubidoux Boulevard.

The fatal incident occurred around 5:10 a.m., near the intersection of Castellano Road and Rubidoux Boulevard.

According to the investigation, a northbound grey Ford Ranger lost control while traveling on Rubidoux. As a result, the pickup-truck struck a fence and veered into southbound lanes, eventually colliding with the big-rig.

Officers and medical responders arrived and pronounced the pick-up driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the big-rig driver to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. However, the identities of the two parties involved in the crash remain unavailable.

At this time, the Jurupa Valley officials are investigating the fatal incident.
