Vista Traffic Collision Results in Serious Injuries

VISTA, CA (July 9, 2021) – Monday, a two-vehicle crash on East Vista Way left 6 people injured, said San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

A Sheriff’s Deputy became aware of the incident around 6:00 a.m., near the intersection with Warmlands Avenue.

Moreover, the deputy discovered one person pinned under one of the vehicles. Authorities identified the involved cars as a 2019 Toyota and a 2003 BMW.

However, investigators said the total number of people involved in the incident remains unknown.

Medical personnel transported at least six people to area hospitals, some to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Eventually, Vista officials closed down East Vista Way for over an hour to conduct an investigation.
