2 Hospitalized after Crash on Civic Center Drive; Ricardo Saucedo Identified as Hit-and-Run Driver

LAS VEGAS, NV (June 8, 2021) – Authorities arrested Ricardo Saucedo after a suspected DUI hit-and-run crash that injured two teens in Civic Center Drive last Thursday.

The accident happened around 3:00 p.m., on June 3. Officers arrived in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Civic Center Drive shortly after.

At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unknown. However, two teenagers suffered serious but non-fatal injuries. In addition, Saucedo fled the scene immediately after the crash.

Police eventually apprehended and arrested Saucedo on suspicion of DUI.

Nevada Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. Authorities now urge anyone with further information to call them at their local offices.

When involved in a car crash, stop and do not leave the scene. Also, do not attempt to drive when intoxicated. Driving under the influence is one of the most dangerous things you can do as a driver. If you find yourself unable to safely drive, you can always contact a Lyft or Uber instead.
