Mia Catherine Campbell Dies after Rollover Crash on SR 376 [Nye County, NV]
5-Year-Old Killed in Fatal Car Crash on State Route 376
NYE COUNTY, NV (May 25, 2021) – Mia Catherine Campbell and a 5-year-old boy died Friday afternoon after a rollover crash on State Route 376.
The tragic accident occurred on State Route 376 on May 14, shortly before 1:00 p.m.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the driver, Campbell was driving a 2005 Ford Escape north toward Austin when she veered off the road. While attempting to maneuver back on the road, the SUV flipped over.
According to the NHP, Campbell and two children were not wearing their seatbelts properly. As a result, they were thrown from the vehicle.
Responding officers found Campbell and a 5-year-old boy dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics rushed a 6-year-old girl to the hospital with potentially fatal injuries.
