Anaheim Freeway Crash Leaves One Fatality on 91 Freeway

ANAHEIM, CA (May 25, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a wrong-way crash that killed one person on 91 Freeway, Thursday evening.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 11:50 P.M., just past the Raymond Avenue exit.

Upon arrival, police discovered the wreckage involving two vehicles in the middle of eastbound 91 Freeway. Later on, the investigators determined that a wrong-way driver caused the fatal incident.

Eventually, the authorities issued a SigAlert for all eastbound lanes of the freeway about 12:15 in the morning.

At this time, the crash is currently under active investigation. More information will be released once available.
