Fresno Crash Victim Identified; Suspect Still at Large
FRESNO, CA (May 17, 2021) – Wednesday, Hannah Pimentel was killed and Marc Rodriquez was identified after a fatal car crash on N Street.
Around 3:00 p.m., Fresno Police said a man believed to be a Bulldog gang member was driving a black Ford Focus.
As soon as the officers pulled over the Ford, it immediately fled at a high rate of speed.
At some point, the driver of the Ford Focus tossed out a loaded firearm later identified to be an AR-15 assault rifle.
Rodriquez went against traffic on Stanislaus Street as the police caught up to him. As a result, the suspect slammed into a BMW and killed 19-year-old Pimentel, before striking a building under construction.
The CHP officials are currently handling the pursuit investigation while the Fresno police look into the incident.
In addition, the friends and family of Hannah Pimentel put up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
Shaquille Moseley also set up a GoFundMe page to help with the building repairs of the soon to be High Performance Training Facility.
No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Hannah Pimentel.
