Dustin Deason Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash on 58th Street [San Diego, CA]
La Mesa Resident Injured in Motorcycle Accident in San Diego
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA (April 26, 2021) – Wednesday, a hit-and-run crash on 58th Street left 45-year-old Dustin Deason amputated.
According to CHP, Deason was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle along the left lane near Trojan Avenue.
Meanwhile, an oncoming white car swerved in front of the motorcycle. Deason then attempted to avoid the vehicle by veering right.
Unfortunately, Deason was unable to avoid striking the vehicle. Upon impact, the suspect immediately fled the scene while Dustin Deason was left in a state of shock when he noticed a portion of his foot was severed.
Eventually, the doctors were able to reattach his foot but complications forced the doctors amputate his left leg at the calf.
At this time, the San Diego County Police are investigating the incident.
