Narciso Sanchez, Bryan Bowman, and Linda Henson Injured in Crash on Highway 49 [San Andreas, CA]
Injuries Reported after 3-Vehicle Collision near Highway 12 in San Andreas
SAN ANDREAS, CA (April 22, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, Narciso Sanchez, Bryan Bowman and Linda Henson were injured in a 3-vehicle crash on Highway 49.
At around 3:15 p.m., the accident happened on the northbound lanes of the highway. According to officers, 86-year-old Sanchez of Pioneer, was driving a 1953 Chevrolet pickup-truck.
For reasons unknown, Sanchez crossed into the southbound lanes over a solid double-yellow line. There, he struck an oncoming 2020 Ford F-150 pickup.
The Ford pickup then collided with a 2013 Dodge Caravan that was stopped near Highway 49. As a result of the impact, Sanchez suffered critical injuries.
Emergency crews arrived and airlifted Sanchez to Memorial Medical Center. In addition, reports indicate that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
As for the driver of the Ford, 61-year-old Bryan Bowman, of Modesto sustained moderate injuries. The third driver, 69-year-old Linda Henson of San Andreas, suffered minor injuries.
At this time, CHP is still investigating to determine further details.
